I am dedicated processional with more than fifteen years (15) years working experience with diverse knowledge and skills in various areas including public private partnerships (I am privileged to be a coordinator and founder of PPP Programme in Tanzania), corporate strategy; private investment and government programmes analysis; regulatory reforms; feasibility studies; Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation. I have contributed much on private sector and investment enabling environment that has ignited national economic growth, with proven value-added inputs to the Government of Tanzania's prosperity and well being.
I was born in July, 1973; Aged 50 years.
1) Develop, review and coordinate implementation of National Investment Policy, Legislation and Strategies with the view to create attractive investment climate that supports growth of businesses and promotes local and foreign investments;
2) To advice the government on the measures that can enhance investment climate in the country;
3) Undertake research, sensitization and awareness creation campaigns to attract investors and financiers to participate in and enhance public support for Public- Private Partnerships;
4) Create conducive environment for the Diaspora to invest in the country;
5) Develop and strengthen linkages among local and foreign investors; and
Promote, facilitate and attract local and foreign investments in all sectors of the economy.
1. To coordinate and oversee implementation of PPP Programme;
2. Prepare and implement short and medium term action plan for effective implementation of the PPP Programme;
3. Support design and review of Legislation, Strategies, Operational Guidelines and Manuals for effective PPP Implementation;
4. Coordinate contracting authorities for effective identification, appraisal and management of PPP Projects;
5. Prepare and implement the Capacity Building and Sensitization Programme;
6. Conduct strategic policy dialogues with Development Partners and private sector to effectively address the underlying constraints for the PPP implementation;
7. Conduct capacity building and sensitization programmes for the MDAs and general public;
8. Advice the Ministry on issues pertaining to public private partnerships including effective PPP coordination, resources mobilization, PPP Fiscal risks and PPP Facilitation Fund.
