Experienced Fossil Power Plant: Plant operator/process controller with a full sound philosophy around the operation, control and monitoring of Ash, Coal and CCW plant, H2 plant, Mills, Compressors, Diesel engines and propane, Fuel oil system etc. Encompassed with that list is an in-depth Water Purification and Waste plant operation experience. This includes treatment of CCW system via Sedimentation plants, Station Drains(Effluent control,Filtration and disposal), Ammonia & CPP, Chemistry parameter control( all W.P.P plants: Boiler & Turbine). Currently 13 years of industrial exposure, further acquiring more knowledge and expertise on the core of Electricity generation, this includes Demineralization , Potable water production and Service water and last but not least, the fire systems operation and many more.

- Daily chemical stock tacking and reporting, updating inventory.( Chlorine,Sulphuric acid and Caustic soda, Coagulant, flocculant, Salts, diesel+Receiving of new stock.
- Perform regular plant checks and record plant status via Flip system + check sheets to facilitate full and proper plant handover.
- Performed duties in accordance with applicable standards, policies and regulatory guidelines to promote safe working environment and ensure plant performs accordingly by regular correction and defect recording via SAP.
- Mainly involved in daily monitoring and control of all Chemistry parameters such as (Sodium,Silica and Conductivity, PH etc..)
- Produce Demineralised, Potable and Service water, Fire water for Electricity generation by units and adhering to particular Chemistry parameters.
- Perform Cation, Anion and Mix-bed vessels regeneration programs on Scada or PLC(ABB)+Brine solution injections on Anions as per requirement.
- Effluent water control and disposal to Ash plant,Sedimentation plant and Station Drains. Loading and de-loading of resin in Demin-water plant (Cation, Anion and Mix-bed Vessels).
- Take grab samples for online analysis regularly+every morning Take samples for Main Lab, to check if we're still on spec and not contaminating condensate system.
- Work hand-in-hand with Outside plant forman and Cycle-Chemist(CCW) to control cooling tower levels and control chemistry.
- Do regular pot tests on raw water due to change in demand and water quality (Caustic, Flocculant and Coagulant dosing,Chlorine).
- Weekly Plant shutdown and cleaning (Clarifiers, Sand-filters etc..)+ do Plant maintenance Orders to insure 100% plant availability. Perform any other Legitimate work.
- Implemented cost-saving measures, identifying inefficiencies and reallocating resources to achieve optimal results.
- Conducted thorough risk assessments to safeguard company assets and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Mentored junior staff members, fostering a positive work environment conducive to professional growth and development.

- Perform plant shutdown, standby and startups when needed on all plants.
- Record all plant activities on Flip for plant handover and record defects via SAP.
- Assist A.S.S when needed and perform any other legitimate job.
