Experienced Power Generation Service Technician with a comprehensive background in diesel and gas turbine power systems, emergency standby generators, and electrical controls. highly skilled in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of power generation equipment of all sizes. Began career at Portland Oregon's oldest yacht service company, gaining hands-on experience with small generators and medium diesel engines, along with additional experience in wood, fiberglass, and metal work. Joined Guam Power Authority (GPA) in 2010 as a Plant Maintenance Mechanic in the Combustion Turbine section, servicing five CT plants and mentoring apprentices in plant operations. In 2015, transitioned to the Water Systems Diesel section and was promoted to Power Plant Mechanic II, supporting the operation and maintenance of emergency standby generators for GPA water wells, sewer stations, and other government facilities. Promoted to Plant Mechanic Leader in 2019, taking on added responsibilities including timekeeping, leading daily safety meetings, preparing weekly and monthly reports, and coordinating emergency generator operations for the Island Wide Power System (IWPD). Appointed Acting Plant Instrument/Electrical Supervisor in April 2025, further expanding leadership duties to include oversight of electrical and instrumentation systems. Continues to support plant reliability and workforce development through operator and maintenance training initiatives.
