Dr. Rewa Bochare Chauhan

Currently, I serve as a faculty member in the Department of Civil Engineering at Prestige Institute of Engineering, Management & Research in Indore. With a comprehensive background, I bring valuable insights from my three years of industry experience in a multinational corporation, coupled with an impressive teaching career spanning over a decade. Throughout my tenure, I have delivered courses on various aspects of water resources at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. My dedication to research is evident in my substantial contributions to the academic community. I hold two patents and have authored more than 10 papers in Scopus/SCIE journals, along with numerous presentations at national and international conferences. Additionally, I have co-authored a book on Water Resources Engineering, which serves as a textbook to civil engineering graduates (available on Amazon and selected stores). My excellence in research has been recognized with best paper awards at international conferences, which I have won twice, showcasing my commitment to advancing knowledge in my field. As an enthusiastic learner, I have pursued continuous education through over 20 online certifications from prestigious platforms such as NPTEL and Coursera. My passion for research extends to my role as a life member of esteemed professional organizations including IE, IWWA, IWRS, and IGS. Adding to my professional standing, I have contributed as a reviewer for reputable journals like ‘Water Resources Management’ and the KSCE Journal of Civil Engineering.
